I do know that Fabtech is a better lift for fullsize, but why?I was looking into them.Clay why does yours back end look so low?Looks like my cherokee w/the rear leafs blown out?

my brother has an 03 silverado and has a 6'' fabtech lift on it....it is an awesome lift he has had it on his truck now for about 3 years and the only thing he has replaced were the shocks...went with the dirt logics.

procomp makes a good lift also...it's all about how much you want to spend and also how high you want to go.

my truck is lower in the rear because i have torsion keys in the front and also my torsion bars are jacked up a little.

i have a fabtech 6'' on my 2000 silverado and it rides better than the stock suspension HONEST, if you're gonna get a lift you have to do it right! Get a suspension lift, spend the money, ($4,600 is what i payed for rims tires lift and install) and it is well worth it. the only draw back i see is the gas mileage, but the positive far outweigh the negative.

Exactly, quality is the biggest factor here. I paid close to $5200 for my rims, tires and lift all installed. My truck used to bounce all over the place, especially when the road was uneven or rough. Since the lift was installed i have noticed significant improvement in the ride quality without sacrificing payload capacity.

BTW, you can also check www.bds-suspension.com. I have the 6" on my truck and i quite like it.

I found Procomp tends to be a little cheaper then most others. I got my 7" Procomp off 4wheelparts.com for a little over $1300 and found most others to be $1500 and more. Try and get free shipping. I Purchased my rims off same site on sale..ProComp Xtreme Alloys 6001s for about $700. Check Ebay for good deals on tires.. 315x75xr16's new, $700 for all 4 w/ free shipping. $2700 for everything.

4Wheel & Off-Road says that the Superlift brand is the best bang for your buck with 35" tires. They priced it from Superlift at $2,147 for the lift and Superlift SSR remote-reservoir shocks. It is a claimed 6 inch lift, but a true 6 1/8" lift. If you do not want the SSR shocks, the base suspension package is $1,725, but then it wouldn't be the best bang for your buck.

This information came from when they compared the top 9 suspension companys, RCD, Pro Comp, Trail Master, CST, Skyjacker, Rough Country, Rancho, Superlift, and Rock Krawler.
