02 2500hd abs issues

just wondering if anyone else has had issues with abs activating unwanted at low speeds (under about 7 mph). I know this is a recall on certain trucks/suv's in the "snowbelt" region. I live in mn. and talked to a dealer (stealer) about this issue and was told that my particular vin # wasn't listed in the recall. the problem as listed in recall info is a wheel speed sensor that gets corroded and dealer is to r&r, clean surface, grease, and check voltage of sensors after install to satisfy recall. they don't even have to put in new parts to my knowledge. my question is if chevy knew it was a problem, and safety issue, and they put out a recall on it; they apparently didn't correct the problem and now they are trying to get out of fixing this problem for me?

Sounds like you need to take it to an independent (stealer). I fix their screw-ups constantly.
