2003 Sierra Brake light indicator

I own an '03 Sierra 2500. I don't drive it much, but the last couple times I drove it, I noticed the Brake light on the dash was glowing. By glowing, I mean it is faintly visible. The light works fine if the emergency brake is on. I've checked that the emergency brake pedal return all the way when it is released. Any suggestions?

I'm having the same problem, but mine seems to do it in cold weather. It was fine this summer. Who knows maybe somebody will help. Thanks in advance, Kirk

It could just be another light from a different part of the gauge cluster, try pulling out your dash and checking lights if its really bothering you. It doesnt sound like anything major.

The brake light in my truck will continue to glow after the truck has been turned off and all other lights have went out. Could my e-brake switch be backfeeding somehow ?? Thanks Kirk
