Interior differences now?

Looking at each website and examining interiors, it looks like there are some subtle differences between the two brands now. GMC SLTs have a brushed aluminum piece around the HVAC and stereo controls, where Chevy LTZs have a woodgrain piece. Also, the steering wheels of the GMC's have the same brushed aluminum trim, but the Chevys just look like black plastic. Both brands seem to have different interior color schemes too. Is this just something that was a mistake like the Tahoe woodgrain consol or are they really different now? I actually think the LT and SLE dash is more truck-like and user friendly. But, to get all of the bells and whistles you have to order the LTZ or the SLT. Oh well, just thought I would get some clarity on something that cought my eye. I am not fond of wood grain, or wood grain mixed with brushed aluminum in the same interior. That's just odd.

I agree. I ordered the LTZ to get all of the features I wanted, but I would have gotten a woodgrain delete option if it was offered. That just looks kinda hokey in pickup, IMO.

Well a big reason why I did not go with a 07 New Style Denali was the fact of the brown wood trim, I do not like brown wood, I like graphite, otherwise I LOVE the interiors of the new styles!

I agree with the rest of you guys,I don't like the "fake" woodgrain.

A buddy of mine just bought a new '07 Tahoe LTZ and he too does not like the wood.
