More seat heater problems

Just bought a 99 Yukon, old body style.

The heat on the drivers side was intermittent, passenger side worked fine,

Tell me how to troubleshoot this thing.

checked the fuses, looks good, took the switch apart & cleaned it, but since the wires and contacts are too small to handle the power, there must be a relay or something under there running things.

Does it have a weight sensor in it, or does the heat work all the time even when you're not sitting it in?

Good site, already figured out why the steering was a little jerky, apparently theres some sensor under the dash that is bad.

Id never have thought about that.

The former owner already had the turn signal/wiper switch replaced, and the fuel pump and the transfercase and the A/C, and the alternator and the whole front brake system.

Thanks
