I'm not sure what kind of answer you are looking for. If you bought a Corsa Cat Back, it only gets as loud as they make it. You could remove their muffler and put in another brand, or a straight pipe. You could look into headers. Good luck.

ok the neighbors not really too concerned about.

Even the wife thought it could be a little louder.

Personally it sounds great, just wish it were a lil louder.

About headers what should i look for cause im kinda going

with the majority of what the forum guys have to say.

Would i be getting a power increase buy chance?

any draw backs with headers.

If you ditch the cats on Corsa exhaust........... You better be prepared!! It will get raspier than you could ever possibly imagine!! Otherwise, get some long tube headers and youll be good to go. ALSO. Its not loud inside the truck. Keep that in mind. It is loud outside.

I wanna ditch my cats badly, only a few things that hold me back.

1. I love my exhaust tone -loud, throaty, screams

2. Haven't checked, but theres more than likely a sensor down there. Then I'd have to drill a hole and weld in the sensor, not a problem, but dad wouldnt be thrilled cause if its not broke why am I fixing it...(hes got all the tools)

3. Even tho there's no E-check anymore, its probobly illegal to remove, and if its gonna be louder I might get pulled over and get my s**t checked out. I know it's illegal for shops to remove cats.

4. Im concerned if theres any performance increase in doing this.

If you have emmissions checks, headers will hurt in that dept. You'll gain performance with headers, but Im not sure on how much exactly. I'd imagine they'll help the torque curve if anything.

ALSO. Its not loud inside the truck. Keep that in mind. It is loud outside.

Word. Driving with the windows up doesnt compare to driving with the windows down. Reason #4201 why I hate winter!

You can purchase the O2 Sensor simulator, that sends the message to your pcm that your cats are operating correctly.

It is definitely illegal to have your cats removed, if you are worried about getting it checked, consider removing the honeycomb and welding them back on.

Also, I know exactly what you mean about your exhaust, I have a similar sound if not identical with my 40 series. I recently decided against this, just because it seemed like more trouble than it was worth.

I have the Corsa too and love it, my brother got his used from craigslist but I wanted a valid warranty so I got it here. Corsa Exhaust 14260, or you can try one of the sponsors here on the forum, they are allways having sales/specials. Either way its a great exhaust system, sounds great, and very easy to install.

Give it a couple months...it will get louder.

I thought the same when I got my flowie...took about 3 months but it gained a few db, mufflers have to break in too.
