If I looked @ the info correctly (I know there are many on the board who have better skills at this) it looks like the Silverado outsold the F-150 in February.

the F-150 sold 55,251 units in February 07.

 

 

I know combined Chevy and GMC outsell Ford, but could this finally be the year the Silverado brings the Ford ads with "America's best selling truck ??? years running" to an end?

Ford will simply reword their advertising and say, "Ford F series, the best selling truck in America". Of course the "F" series would include the 150, 250 350, 450 etc etc.

 

It would be great to see this happen but to me, the most important claim would exclude the word selling and simply say "America's BEST Truck" We already know who holds this record.

This will be the end of F-150 sell-a-thon. I have read, heard and seen many die hard Ford fans who are stongly condsidering the new GM trucks, especially the HD's. The new Super Duties are so ugly that most are jumping ship.

The "all new Tundra" sold fewer units in February 2007 than 2006, down 8.5% from last year, and down 21.8% over the first two months of 2006.

 

To be fair, it was released on the 5th, so we'll have to wait a month to see the real results. Under 10K trucks per month will not reach Toyota's goal of 200K per year

 

The silverado saw an increase of 34% and the Sierra 27%.

I was wrong the 55,251 was ALL F-series not just the F-150.
