Speaker Not Working

The right front speakers in my 02 Suburban are not working. The mid-range produces no sound at all and the tweeter only puts out a weak, tinny sound when the volume is turned up.

I have tried two OEM head units with the same results. What should I check first?

Took my speakers to a local shop. Mid-range is blown. Tweeter is OK.

Any idea what caued it to blow (Cranked loud) I am having a simular problem. Stereo has not been turned up loud so I am not sure this is my problem. I have very low volume on the drivers side.

Basically because they are cheap paper speakers and the older they get the worse they become. I actually had the front drivers door speaker fail and the tweeter on the drivers door just fell out last year. That's when I got rid of all the factory equipment and put in some good stuff.
