2007 Chrome Mirror Cap,door Handle, Sub Box

Just updated my photo bucket with pics of my new mirror caps, mirror caps, and sub box which will be housing two RF P3slim subs. I originally had the fake chrome door handles which looked pretty decent but the first time through the car wash and the passengar side was peeling off, so i went ahead and got the handles an mirror caps from GM, which if you're staddling the fence just bight the extra price and do it right the first time. Fake mirror caps are about the same price as the stick on ones but these actally replace the cap and don't just stick on. They also come with some very detailed instructions so i'm sure a novice wrench hand could do it no problem. The handles just look better also. As far as the sub box, i got it from soud off audio and was originally planning on running two infinity kappa perfect subs which are 5.5" deep which is what the box is supposed to be but once i got it, the subs don't even come close to fitting. The box may be 5.5" dead center of the mounting hole but it tapers off quickly and only has about 3.5" inches on the shallow side. so i'm going to try the rockford slim P3 which should clear easily. I can also verify that the elemental designs 11kv.3 sub fits perfectly in the enclosure. How much did the box cost shipped to your location?

Once you find subs that fit (I'm considering the Pioneer Premier slim subs) let us know!

Can we get more pictures of your sub box? Sound off doesn't have many pics on their site.

Does anyone have pics of the mirror caps on a Black Sierra?

Looks awesome man!! I'm pickin up my NBS tomorrow, same color as yours, I wanted to put the caps and handles on, but the dealer wants to charge me an arm and a leg for it... So Im thinking of doing it myself, how tough was it??? Also where did you get the parts??

The dealer i bought my truck from was going to charge some ridicolous price to install the door handles "can't rember exactly like 250 i belive" that's why i went with the stick on's, however just out of curiosity i called another dealer which i always order parts from and they installed the handles for 80 bucks, which is a good price imo, because you have to take all 4 door panels off which isnt hard but does take a good bit of time, the mirror caps only cost 10 dollars to get installed, all together parts and labor for the handles and caps was only about 300. I'll try to get some more pics of the sub box, but here's the sub i decided to go with http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/products/pr...S&p_status= You can get them for about 100 each off the web, and i've had several RF subs and have been pretty satisified with them. so what is the best under seat sub for the new style sierra I have the crew But I want to hide it under the seat, on the right. the rockford low profile looks like a good piece. I dont want anything under the driver seat cuz I have a mobile Pc under there.

has anyone swaped the door handles themself.

Definitely go with the GM mirror caps and door handles. The other stuff is just stick on with 3m tape which dosen't look and won't last long at all form what i've seen. I'm not sure about the rockford subs yet. I've had them hooked up for a while but still haven't had time to get things tuned up. "semester is coming to an end"

I did my own handles...no big deal...GM flat rate is .5 per door and it takes all of that the 1st time.

Read in another post you stated 33X10.5X20...don't see those listed, maybe 275 60 20?

Your truck is looking good! I too have the actual handles and mirror caps. It's tough to explain how much nicer they are than the stick on kind. This is a solid upgrade for anyone on the fence!
