Code 43 Headache.......

hey y,all

 

ive been reading as much as possible to figure out this ses dilema so far changed the o2 ,knock sensor, timing chainset, esc, cap, rotor ,plugs , all because of CODE 43 AND IT WONT GO AWAY IT HAUNTS ME IN MY SLEEP and ive developed a twitch

 

the trucks a 93 5.7 suburban 4wd

 

also ...wheres the timing wire for this thing so i can check the timing

Code 43 is ESC Signal to ECM has remained low for too long or the system has failed a functional check.

Since you have changed the knock sensor i would say you need to do a contnunty check between the knock sensor and the ECM. Also is the ign module a good quality like GM one, or a cheapy if its a cheapy get a good one.

 

Thje ign timing wire is under the cover for the buss bar above the heater and is tan wire that has a disconnect. Timing should be at zero or +1.
