Dodge Ram Defector

After 3 years in a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500, I'm into a 2007 Sierra Classic, and I can see a lot of the differences already - ride, comfort, lower noise level.

Very happy so far with it, and glad to have found this nice little cafe.

Yes....and no.....the only thing I'm disappointed in is the 60/40 split back seat. My Ram had the rear seat FOLD UP, and since I carry tools in my cab, this was just awesome. It even had a fold out cargo tray, so my tool box sat flat and square. My GMC has FOLD DOWN rear seats, and this has created a logistical nightmare for me in carrying a tool box in the back. I didn't know this when I bought it.....mine came in from Alberta. I had seen (and driven) a similar unit locally (B.C.) , and it had a full rear seat, which FOLDS UP....so I thought the split seats did the same. My mistake.

Anyway, that's the only thing I miss so far. I have noticed, however, that I am sitting lower in the GMC, but strangely enough, the ground clearance on both units is very similar.

Your definitely not gonna miss that Dodge, has been also an owner of a Dodge caravan for five years and within that span of time it has gave me enough headache for its low quality Dodge caravan parts, which has been broken too often that cost me enough that me buy a new 2500HD GM sierra... And I was so happy with its towing capacity up to 16, 100 lbs and Duramax 6.6L turbo diesel; 6 speed manual transmission, HP; [email protected]; 520lb-ft@1600rpm, Man I love this truck... Surely I'l be missing this if its gone... By the way, I would like to welcome you to the Beer garden...
