Radio Clock Keeps Resetting

2003 GMC Sierra Extended Cab Z71. Bought this truck used a couple months ago. The clock on the radio keeps resetting to 12:00am. Sometimes at startup, sometimes just driving down the road. Display will go blank, music stops for a couple seconds, then everything comes back up with everything the same except the clock reset. Happens every 4 or 5 days. The truck has the 6 disc CD Changer.

I have an '03 Silverado 4x4 Ext Cab and my Radio did the same thing. What I found to be the problem was the connection no the back of the radio was not secure. Try to check that, otherwise I would say it is a bad radio.
