2007 Nbs Silverado Ltz Z71 New Grille

Hey guys. I just joined your forum. I got a 2007 Silverado LTZ Z71 about a month ago and I never could stand the grille on it, so I ordered the new grille from GM Accessories. Installed it last night and not sure I like it either. It is the one that changes the chrome to black(black truck) and black to chrome. Does anyone else have this grille? I have a few pics, but am too stupid to learn how to post them. Can someone here post them for me? This is a great site......hope to learn the ins and outs.

Thanks,

Thomas

figured pics out. What do you guys think?

Does the black finish on the new bumper parts match the truck? I like the black on black (My 07 NBS is black too and I was pondering replacing some or all of the chrome up front with black). What's the part # or link to the bumper you ordered? Can we get a side or 3/4 view?

Btw, your truck appears to be in good company. Is that a vett and a beamer? :banghead:

IMO, what would really set this off now is to replace the gold bow tie with a polished billet one. They are out there.

I agree with the polished bowtie idea, I think that would finish it off real nice. But if nothing else the black looks better then the chrome.

Yeah, the black does match the rest of the truck perfectly...suprised me. The part # is 19158486....it is a different # for different colors though. I am gonna give it a bath soon and take some pics with my camera, those are with a phone, and I will post them. Yes, it is a 2003 ZO6 and my wifes 2004 330i.

Let me look. As for the diamond plate, I'd stick with black onces and make that puppy look mean as hell. Diamond plate says work truck to me. I'll get back with you on the bow tie.

gmpartsdirect.com says 19158486 is a radiator grill, does it include the bumper pieces too? I've got a NBS black 07 LS so I've got the black painted bumper sides, but the chrome across the front of the bumper. What do I need to go 100% black up front? I dig the look.

Wish I could find a *real* black bowtie, not a sticker. They are mythical at this point. The chrome does look better than the gold though.
