Horns

they replaced the horns on my 03 denali about 5 times.

after driving in a hard rain, the horns sound funny.

is this common ??

Mine just died for the second time. I've read several threads about this. Seems to happen a lot.

Friend of mine has an 05 canyon. After a heavy rain it wasnt working at all. We popped it out and found water inside it. I turned it upside down and dumped it all out and it actually started working again but it sounded like it was gurgling haha. 2 months later it stopped working again and he had to get it replaced. With that said, I have never had any problems with the horn on my 02 sierra. So it seems that its common enough for many people to experience it, but certainly not everyone.

I had to have mine replaced 3 times on my '01 for about the same issue.

 

In cold weather they would sound funny and if you honked long enough they would blow the fuse.
