Front End Knocking

When driving i hear alot of noise and knocking coming mostly from the front end but kinda sounds like my whole suspension. I briefly looked underneath and noticed my front wishbones resting on the bumper stops. Are they suposed to rest on eachother? Are my shocks blown?

 

I feel alot of vibration in the pedals and steering wheel which feels alot like the knock like our steering shaft issue and i can feel just about every bump in the road.

 

Any ideas?

This sounds more like your springs have collapsed. How is the suspension ride height?
