Tnr Nav + Aoem-gm24 + Amps = Whine?

So I finally got my TNR Nav installed, and with the truck engine not running, it sounds downright awesome! But it has a ton of whine in it with the truck running - and I've tried everything I know how to do. Help!

System Description:

TNR Nav, reprogrammed

AOEM-GM24

Rockford Fosgate 3.Sixty2 EQ / Signal Processor w/ xovers & sub out

2 RF Amps - one small 2-channel amp for the rear, one large 4 channel amp for the 2 fronts & rear channels bridged to power the sub

Focal 2-way speakers all around

JL Audio Stealthbox 12" under the rear seat

Amps are wired with O-gauge power cable straight to the battery (via a 100A circuit breaker & fused distribution block)

All RCA's are high quality units specific for car stereo (not radio shack)

Power wire runs under the truck (wouldn't fit in the door sill)

RCA's run through the door sill.

All the easy stuff has been checked - no RCA's run alongside power wires, grounds are good, gains aren't too high, etc.

Now for the kicker: I had this stuff in the garage for months & couldn't get to it. So I had the local stereo shop do the install. They've done work for me in the past & are a high end dealer, not a circuit-city place. But they're not familiar with the AOEM-GM24 so aren't sure if it's causing the problem or not. I bought all the stuff from the advice I received on this site & other research. So I'm hoping there's some knowledge on this site that would help find & fix this whine...????

Any ideas?

Oh - and one more thing. We already installed RCA whine filters in the line.

:)

My experience is many times the whine is caused by either an outright bad ground (many times at the head) or a difference in ground from head to amp. I'm guessing both amps are grounded at the same place. Perhaps double checking the head ground and/or running a small wire from that ground to your amp ground would help.

i agree its either a ground problem, power problem or could even be an alternator going bad. if they are using both rca hook up's on the AOEM-GM24 it could be that. some people say you cant run both of the rca's w/o problems. i only use the adapter for the subs. if you are using both of the rca's sets on the adapter unhook one and see if that solves it.
