Pictures Of The New Avalanche

Finally I got a chance to take some pictures of my new 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche. I traded in my 2001 Z71 Tahoe on this beauty. So far I have added an alarm and window tint (35% on the front side windows, 5% over the factory 20% on the rear side windows, and 20% over the factory 20% on the back window). When the stock Goodyears wear out I am going to get some new wheels and tires. Other than that, I should be good for awhile until the mod bug gets me.

I miss the GMT800 AV design. IMO new front end design needs work as does the new "lux" interior. Certainly doesn't look like the rugged '04 Z71 AV I bought and loved. Don't get me wrong the '07 AV is still a great looking beast, it's a hell of alot more functional than it's Tahoe brother, IMO it's just it's not designed or marketed to some/most of those which bought 2002-2006 AV's. That could be a good thing or a bad thing, but for me it's a bad thing. Think there are many out there missin the old AV's grimacing front end, ground clearance, cladding and rugged function and looks. I found the old AV design, function, ride "lux", sad to see it going more caddy ext like.

Everybody's entitled to their own opinion, and personally I think the 900s look much better than the 800s. Great looking truck; I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

You know I was all about the 800 series interior before I bought my new Denali, I love the way everything is laid out in the 900 series. However, I don't like the exterior look of the 900 series trucks (HD) was thinking about trading my 07 classic in for a 07.5 LMM but I just don't like the way they look. (Nor do I like the d**n DPF crap... fugly as hell). Though, the plastic in the 900 series does look a lot like the plastics in the fords.... (Dash plastic)

Blah, what a POS, shoulda bought a Blundra!!! LOL J/K NICE truck!!! I almost bought an 07 Av last fall, but decided to wait for the new trucks.

I agree with CTAHOE, they are still nice and I ALMOST did buy one until I had second thoughts and drove a silverado...Then it was a clear choice! Buy the silverado! I had an 04 AV and loved it, the new ones feel too much like a suburban for my likes....Nice truck though looks great!
