Two Different Problems (two Different Trucks)

Ok, First one:

 

2004 Z-71 Suburban

When my buddy drives it he says occasionaly (while in gear and in motion) the 4wd indicators on the left of the dash will show "Nutral" instead of 2wd. It does not effect her ability to drive it, but it happens. Any ideas what I should look at, or what is the common stuff for this problem? I will be able to give more info probably this weekend.

 

2nd

2002 Tahoe Lt with the 5.3 non flex fuel (my truck)

Occasionaly when I am driving my gas guage will dive to "E" and the battery will flash up on the Info Center. The engine does not die and I do not loose power.

 

Any idea's guys? or what other info would you like? I will be able to get codes from the 04 over the weekend, I'm going to check the 02 tomorow for them.

On the 2004

 

It is going to be the switch its self or the encoder motor. if there are code let me have them and i will beable to tell what it needs

 

 

On the 2002
