Trading Up

I'm thinking of trading my '03 Yukon for a Sierra. Need some advice from those in the know:

 

My objectives: Crew cab, leather, most of the goodies. Price is too close on '07 and '08 to be an issue.

 

 

'07 NBS or '08 - advantages other than rebates??

4spd or 6 spd auto - are there any known issues with the new 6spd?

4.8L or 5.4L - in the Yukon the 4.8 doesn't cut it,, especially on cruise control. How are they in the Sierra?

 

Anything else I should know? I'm comparing it to a Lariat or King Ranch F150.

Yea I want to trade up too but from a 5.3L to a 8.1L. Will be used for me

I still say it is a shame GM stopped production of the BB.

Get the 5.3.

 

As far as I know there are minimal changes for the `07 to `08 model year. I think for `08 they may have added a color, "green metallic."
