Rear Bowtie Emblem- On Or Off?

after some nice kid did some custom scratch art on my tailgate (just a couple small scratches actually), i had the tailgate completly repainted.

my painter put the "LT" and the "Silverado" lettering back on, but suggested to leave the Bowtie off...............the tailgate is black as is the whole truck.

to me it looks good, but just want some opinions from you all..............would you leave the big gold Bowtie on or off?

LMAO...........i really think it looks a lot better without it.................i do know that after putting the Zaino on that it would be a pain in the butt.

hi back at ya Mike............definately makes waxing a lot easier.

i'm a Zaino fan so the emblem off makes the job easier.

funny thing about the rear Bowtie, every truck i see with it makes me zero in on the silly thing......glad i left it off.

I did leave the Vortec MAX emblem on the doors but the bowtie, LTZ, and the Silverado emblems were removed the second day of ownership.

 

I just finished waxing with Zaino Z5 this morning. About 3 weeks ago I used the clay bar, then Z2. If I think of it, I'll take a pic tomorrow.

I saw a guy who left the chrome around the bowtie and had the rest painted black to match the truck. It looked good, didn't scream as loud as the gold bowtie.
