Steering Shaft Clunk - Fixed!

Just thought I would share - I started getting the dreaded clunk in my steering at about 10,000 miles on my 2006 CC - - finally got around to taking it in for warrantly repair at 12,500 miles - - after 2 hours in the shop, and a new shaft installed, I am back to perfect!

 

While it is annoying that this defect has existed for so many years in our trucks, the dealer was great about it - fast in, fast out - and no questions. Hope it will last a long time.

 

Also, thought Id give a shout out to the great dealer in Sanford, Florida - Bill Heard Chevrolet. You always hear about bad dealer experiences so I thought I'd share a good one. And I did not buy the truck there - just moved here from NC.

That's great, I need to get mine fixed and we have a Bill Heard in Plant City; I'll take it there as I havent been so impressed with Ferman in Tampa.
