Corsa Install

I installed my new rear exit dual Corsa Sport exhaust last week and I'm very happy w/ the sound, but not the way it looks from the rear.

I had trouble lining up the pipes from left to right evenly, but with much adjustment of the clamps and Y fitting it looks okay but is not level with the truck and comes out the back at a downward slant. Aside from lifting the whole muffler and everything so it's level, I can't see a way to correct it. Anyone have experience with this?

You have to loosen the rear pipe at the muffler and twist it till you get the heigh desired. Mine is 1 inch below the bottom of the bed.

 

You may have to use a long pipe and bend the muffler hanger to get lined up.

Ive installed a couple of these and honestly not to sound mean or anything but as long as you did everything they told you to in the directions without cutting any corners and that begining pipe meets up with the converter pipe that sapose to be the easiest system you will ever install.

 

The tips themselves only have that one bolt that allows them to pivot up or down as if your holding them with both hands and pull one hand down and the other up. Other than that id make shure you have your other pipes straight, you might have to twist them to there correct position...i always do the bolt down last and snug up to look at in the begining.

Yea....start at the head pipe make sure its bolted right...then make loosen all the clamps...start at the muffler inlet make sure its pushed up all the way and the hole in the muffler is pointing straight down...then tighten the first clamp...make sure its out toward the edge so it effectively clamps the pipe down..if its too far down it wont clamp as well....then get a friend or maybe two and you start at the next clamp and start tightening them...make sure your friends understand they will have to twist the rear pipes a bit to get them lined up....i just got through putting one of these on and have had the same trouble
