I saw a truck identical to mine in a parking lot a couple days ago and it had a set of 285 BFG's on it. Looked awesome. I think that $250/ tire is a little steep but... Any way I was wondering if any of you had upgraded tires yet, mainly on the factory 18's(the Z71 rims). I have been looking at a few diffrent ones. The toyos in 285, the nittos in 285, the bfg in 285, and the bfg rugged terrain in 275. Any help would be nice.

I haven't yet,But I'll be putting on a set of LT275/65R18 Goodyear Wrangler AT/S's in a load range "C" real soon.

There going to run me about $200 a piece,But anythings better than the junk Bridgestones on there now!

I like to refer to them as the baldstones. By the way they stukmyass yesterday in a deep mud hole, no kidding. I was cussing them. With some decent tires i could have gotten through, heck if i had known it was muddy i would have made it but 2wd wont get you very far in quicksand. the 275 bfg rugged's show that they are a liitle taller and wider than the goodyears, according to their website. just thought that you might be interested. my bud has them on his ford now and they are not any larger than my 'stones.
