Nnbs Tinted Tails

Found a set of NNBS tails on eBay and had a local guy spray the tint. I just realized I have to do the 3rd brake light as well. I think it ties in well with the window tint, and black bumper plastic, etc.

 

Picts are sorta lousy but you get the point.

And as sacrilege as it is, the massive Bowtie is coming off next.

looks good on that body color ... i can't see em on mine tho ... less there was a white spray tint

I think they look good but I've never been brave enough to darken the only thing that poor idiot behind me sees when I am stoppong.

You'd be surprised how much light comes through. Thats what I like about them the most. You do not loose functionality of the light. The tint is very deceiving.

What product did you use to tint the tails? My truck is black so it might look good

those tail lights look sweet along with that TRUCK! i usually like the new GMCs over the chevys unless its in the package with the 20s so you did it right......nice vmax package also

I'd like to see a pic of those at night, if you can.............on my black truck, I'd really like to do that, particularly since I debadged the tailgate, BUT, I'm with Zemonez, all I need is somebody not paying attention and rear end my hitch ball, and find ourselves 'doing the deed' in the middle of an intersection! Also, what did your body shop use for tint?

I'll see if I can get a night shot tonight. Spray tint was used. Not sure of the exact brand though.

I've been looking for an extra set of headlights and tailights for my NNBS too... how did you find those?!?!?! Been keeping tabs on ebay for a month now with no success.

Actually he used body shop materials with a few coats of clear so I don't anticipate any fading. He's done this for years and had showed me tails on his personal vehicles he's done in the years past. Very happy with his work.

 

I eBay'ed these. Gotta dig deeper man!!! I actually just got an extra 3rd brake light (cab) so it can be smoked as well.
