07 Nnbs 5.3 Exhaust Without Drone?

I know there are posts on here regarding which exhausts sound better, louder, deeper and what not... but all I want to know is which exhausts on the NNBS Silverado 5.3 have the least or better yet non existent drone sound everyone keeps saying is horrible?

Trying to pick one out and I'm ready to order one. All I want is a single side swept exhaust that dumps in the stock location...pretty simple.

I have the Magnaflow 16740 system (see my sig for link) and it does have some drone between 1800 and 2100 RPMs but it does sound great outside the truck at all rpms and inside at most. The V4 drone isn't really that bad and is going to be present in any system regardless of what people say. There is no way V8 and V4 mode will ever sound the same in a passive system. I have clips of the sound outside the truck in the thread. The best part of the system is the tip. 4" slash cut beveled tip. Looks solid behind the truck like it was meant to be there. IMO, the stock pipe looks entirely too small.

Are you planning on powder coating or black chroming the exhaust tip?

Are you looking to just remove the muffler and put on a new one? Or complete exhaust??

I would like to just get something that would give it a lower growl.

The flowmaster systems that have the resonator included(they look like a small muffler) that go before that actual muffler take alot of the drone out. Like the earlier post stated you really can't get all of the drone to go away. So if you plan to just replace the muffler, also call up the exhaust company and see what proper resonator (the spelling maybe wrong) works for the muffler you plan to use.

The other thing that I did for my truck that really helped to reduce the interior noise was to lay a bunch of sound deadener in the cab, under the cab etc. Good Luck!

No drone what-so-ever with CORSA,Even in V4 mode theres just a little "flutter" which isn't very noticable at all.

Yeah, I actually want to blacken the exuast pipe too right after the muffler out to the tip, probably going to use high heat black paint, don't want to sse any silver from the side of the truck, or inbetwen the tires/wheel wells.

So, I'm most likely going to modify the exhaust before I even install it, so I'm relying on your guys to steer me in the right direction..no pressure now..haha

Does the Corsa sound throaty? Is the tip welded on?

Exhaust from the cat back, want the larger, mandrel bent exhaust piping.

I have a Magnaflow setup with single-in, dual-out. It's got a nice throaty growl at low RPM, it quiets down between 1500-2200rpm to barely noticeable, even in V4 mode, but when you step on it it gets louder again. I have been very happy with magnaflow so far.
