I Really Need Some Guy Advice...

Hello everyone...

I really need some guy advice. I dont know the least bit about trucks and I am trying to buy my boyfriend a new exhaust for a gift. I want to get him a really nice one that sounds great also. He has a new 2007 Chevy Silverado 4x4 Black LT2 model. I don't even know where to begin.

He also is drooling over the black bow tie thing that some guys have here on their trucks he wants that also. Is that a sticker or something or a whole new grill? Also, does anyone have any suggestions for nice looking grills? Please help me out...I am so confused.

Thanks so much....

The main question here is "how much money do you want to spend?"

You can easily cross the $1,000 mark with exhaust, yet you can also have a local shop simply weld a new muffler in for less than $200, but it probably won't sound as good.

The bowtie can be removed and painted black or you can buy stickers that do it.

Welcome to the boards, BTW

My suggestion is to go with Magnaflow Exhaust System part number 16741! I just put it on my 2007 NBS Silverado last night and it sounds awesome. I paid $500 shipped to my door. Best part is that its full Stainless Steel not Aluminized like Flowmaster.

I would say the 600.00 range. If possible!

Thanks everyone for taking the time to help me on here.

Once again I will say this "avoid truckaddons.com at all costs". Many people on here have had problem with them.

Good luck hunting.

In the last year i think its safe to say iv given them a few thousand minimum. Iv never ever had a problem with them. Actually, i love dealing with them. Great prices and customer service

Buying from these jackals is like playing russian roulette...you pulled the trigger once and have lived to tell about it. Consider yourself lucky as these guys care more about lining their wallets than outfitting your truck. There are plenty of quality, reputable, customer oriented vendors on this site and they'll never let you down like the losers at truckaddons.com. Go buy a lottery ticket as your luck is on a streak!

The link to the page where people got hijacked is here. You are the one in a million customer. Many people here bought from them and had problems. Almost five pages of people complaining about the crappy cust. service in all its unedited glory.
