hey everybody, i'm new to the board, and new to a full size gm. I've had two sonoma's so far (last was a ZR2). This time around I've got a fully loaded Sierra 1500 VortecMax.

 

I'm gonna be lookin at changing the cdplayer in the near future. I had a JVC deck (with sirius radio) and alpine speakers in the ZR2 so I'll be lookin at putting all that in this truck. I hate to disable the rear controls but its not something i'll use anyway. I've read here that theres something you can use to enable the SWC with aftermarket decks, so i might look into that, depending on price.

Welcome.

 

Very nice truck, and with the 6.0 HO. I am sure that you will like that engine, there is a lot more pull there then the old 4.3. My mom has an Escalade that has that engine, I like it a lot.
