I don't know if this has been asked before or not. My 2001 Chevy has the standard 3 knob heater controls. Last year the a/c cab re-circulation button back night light burned out. Seems wierd at night with that light gone. Now this year the a/c button back night light is also blown out. Finally, got the nards to look at it. Took it out and gutted to only find they are soldered in. Is there a replacement bulb or circuit board? Update perhaps, or does one have to buy the whole thing? If so, part #? I work on semis for a living and all their bulbs are twist out style. Thanks..icon9.gif

I had the same happen on my 01, I went to radio shack and got replacement bulbs and sodered them in. It look sweet, I also used different colors- blue for the ac, red for the circulators A couple of guys have done it if you look around, plus the bulbs were less than 5 bucks.

Thanks, I might just do that. Never even thought of it. That would be alot cheaper than a new one. Thanks again.
