My New '07

Finally decided to trade in my 1998 Silverado for a new one. Only had 76,000 miles on it and it was

mint.

Bought a new '07 LTZ with Ebony interior NAV & DVD for the kids. This is before I added the extras.

Here's the finshed product. Added Chrome package, running boards, colored grill, spray-in bedliner and took off the lame 4x4 stickers.

Awesome truck, are those chrome door handle covers or did you change the handles completely? I bought chrome mirror covers for my black 2007 z71 but when I got them I chickened out and haven't put them on. They're the kind that cover the entire mirror, not just the top portion....so it was almost too much chrome IMO.

BTW, what kind of running boards are those?

Great looking truck. What kind of running boards are those? I really like the looks of them, and I am looking for some for my truck.

Thanks guys. I love it. I especially love the remote start and to have warm seats when I get in! All of the accessories came from GM Accessories.

I see the new Tahoes can come with 22's on them and I really like one of the chrome designs. Do you know if you can put those on this truck? My dealership had different opinions as some said yes and some said no.

I have a '07 NNBS Z-71 extra cab with a approx 1,500 miles I would have almost traded you striaght up for that '98. I'm thinking of dumping the new one and just getting an older one and putting a new crate engine it and forget it.

I hope you didn't 'trade' that 98 in. That would be extremely dumb. A low mileage mint condition 98 1500 would go for a mint amount of money on the private market. Those were some of the best trucks GM made. It's rare to find one that nice!

I bought a 2007 Nbs Silverado Crew Cab, but also decided to keep my mint 1994 Silverado with 85K miles. I like the 1994 better! The 2007 is nice, but I don't get too excited about driving it for some reason. I think it's that the 1994 is more truck-like and the 2007 drives so nice, it's like driving a luxury car.
