Today my DIC showing Service Tire Monitor System - and all 4 tires show blank empty values , I checked the tires with my manual pressure gauge. They are all at 35/36 Psi.

is this something quick fix or do I have to wait 5hrs @the dealer's shop again? :happysad: .

Look like another trip to the Dealer Tomorrow moring.

Maybe try your relearn sensor option. Do you have a DIC. There is an option in there for that, but I've never used it.

UJ...............Thank the Feds and the Ford exploder owners for forcing this

new system down our throats !

Mine is screwed up and the warning is flashing on mine too................

Try the reset procedure on pg. 572 of your owners manual.

It didn't work for me so its off to the dealer and some Tech 2 machine

playtime!..........geo

Hey guys try going to one of the bigger tire dealers around you. They know how to do that stuff and if it's a place where you bought your tires they might do it for free. It's worth a try. :happysad:

I tried the relearn sensor option, but no Go. Anyhow call the Dealer and made the appointment 1:00pm... let you know the results.

I called ON * Star to see if they can troubleshoot and fix my TPMS issue, but stupido asked me to read the Service Manual Page 522-600 or something....wtf :banghead:

Went to the Dealer - Tech clear the error message Service Tire Monitor System, then told me Truck will lean the tire pressure it self.

However my original error code is back

Luckily I saw the following thread http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=69336 RICH’s post “It doesn't,You must either use the increase/decrease pressure method or a sensor programming tool.”

Then I decided to give the try – went to a gas station, push more air in to all 4 tires about 40psi, Turned the ignition ON position (error and blinking yellow tire sign is on) hit the Relearn Tires – and here is the Interesting part my truck Honk the horn twice then driver’s side parking lamp is ON at that point I release FL (front left) tire’s air a bit – well now truck honk once and repot the correct tire pressure to the DIC, then I did the same thing to all FR, RR and RL - for every tire it will honk the Horn and confirm its report the tire condition correctly, finally honk twice and Service Tire Monitor System error code is gone no more blinking tire sign Thanks GOD.

I hope my experience will help someone someday.

Sorry about my writing…I am not a good writer :dunno: .
