2007 Navigation Upgrade

Ok I recently traded my 2004 ex cab z71 w/bose in on a 2007 LTZ ex vortecmax. I had nav in the 04 that I had done the BOSE Lux mod on. Well I yanked in before trading it in and am giving it to my dad. The question here is on the 07 do you have to do like on the older ones to put the navigation in or is it a simple plug and play with nav ant and map with a dealer reprogram on the vin?

You can do a plug & play, sorta. If you are interested, I have a 2007 take out factory NAV with the map DVD. It is the DVD model that can double as a DVD player for the Rear Seat Entertainment system. PM me if you are interested. I can also explain to you what else it takes to get the system up and running. posting for a friend who has an 07 LT with Nav, he wants to use it to play movies while driving for his kids... any luck on that score..
