Well evryone here says that they are computer limited to 98mph. My wife swears she had my truck over 110mph, and she following her brother in his lexus and also said they were up to 110mph. I have not driven my truck for 3 months, but i will be back driving soon, so i'mm gonna give it a whirl.

Please let me know what you find out. I asked the local dealer only to be told she would have to ask the experts and never got back to me. I guess I am hoping to find out that they are not limited to 98mph. I dont imagine driving over 98mph on a regular basis, but dont want someone preventing me from doing it either...lol

Mine shuts off high 90's. However, I can say with experience in racing, that this engine is just getting started about there, as it is 'on the pipe' at about 4Krpm+. Couldn't tell you accurately the top speed with the limiter removed, but air resistance would be it's limiting factor, not the engine. My best guess would be 130+, of course the tires speed rating could limit that too.

Ok, here is my next question. If you have the limiter removed or have one of the tuning computers/chips installed, do you void the warranty on your truck?

Only if they can prove that the modifacations caused the failure. Research the Magnuson-moss warranty act.
