Dic Panel Delivered To Someone Else

Does anyone have a phone number for GMpartsdirect? I placed a post on the Vendor site and sent them an email because the new "DIC" panel I ordered from them was shipped via Fedex to someone else's address.. I think Fedex screwed up, but never the less I never recieved the item. I haven't got a response from GMPartsdirect, so I figured I better call them. In a case like this I'd like to see GMPartsdirect overnight me the item and take up the lost part with Fedex.

GMPD.com is a division of Flow Chevrolet in Winston Salem, NC. The Flow Chevrolet website has several numbers listed. Hopefully someone there will be able to help you out.

Unfortunately, GMPartsdirect doesn't have customer service phone help. All customer service is handled through email only.

If that is a true statement, it is just one more reason to not use them.

I recieved an email from GMPartsdirect which indicates that they have contacted Fedex and started a trace. Based on the findings they will figure out what action to take.

 

So if I'm not lieing.. and they can't find the part then maybe they will send me another one?

 

This stinks especially as I'm going to Maine on vacation for two weeks starting on Wednesday.

You could always go "Test Drive" a new one and swap out the panel! Of course, you could also go to jail for that.

If all else fails and they refuse to send you the part because FedEX says that it was delivered but it wasn't, then file for a chargeback on your credit card and go buy the part somewhere else.

They dont have a customer assistance phone? well... some parts company.. :thumbs:

 

I'll check my home email address when I get home from work. I placed the order on 31-Oct-07 paid over $10 for shipping for a 3lb package and still haven't seen anything. To top this all off, I'm leaving tomorrow night for two weeks vacation. Simply wonderful!

A gentleman in town just buzzed my door bell and gave me the torn box. Looks like it had a rough transit, but the parts seem unharmed. The guy has been out of town and just got home today. I'm glad people like that are out there.

At least you have it for your trip now. Did you get it installed yet?

I installed it last night and seems to work great. I just put all my tires at 35 psi on Monday, and that new switch assembly shows my tires different at 32-34 psi.. I'm not sure which is more accurate the dic panel or the hand held gauge from Kragens.
