Anyone out there ever use a Ready LIFT leveling kit? I've seen their ad in a couple magazines already but have never heard them mentioned in forums. Anyone know how legit their product is?

Thanks

yes i have and i had it installed on my 05 avalanche. it leveled it out great . looks good. i just wish i installed it my self cause i could have save me some $. i also installed the bilstein 5100 shocks . you will need to install a shock with a little more lift. after you do the level have it aligned because it will put your alignment out of whack. im planning on put 33s under it in the future.

Skyjacker makes a leveling kit for half the price. It's aluminum like the Ready lift.

I see you have an 06 truck. I would get some ford keys or some keys off of ebay to level your truck. It is the same thing just doesn't have the ready lift name.

BUT FIRST try to crank up your stock keys first because you can level your truck out most of the time just doing that. And it is free. BUT get an alignment when done.

Both ways are the same concept. You just twist your torsion bars the same amount to get the same lift. The Ready Lift kit and ford keys with ride the same as if you cranked you stock keys. Don't believe the statement of riding like stock. It will firm up your ride when doing both of the options.

To Crank up your stock keys. Jack up the front to take the load off the tires. What I did to my 03 silverado is spray alittle bit of pentrating lube on the bolts and let it sit for about 10 minutes. (you can do this before you jack up the truck) Then start to turn up the bolts but turn both bolts the same amount of turns. Try 3 turns first and let the truck down and check your height. If close take it around the block to let it settle a little and remeasure. If you need more then crank one turn at a time to get your height you want. Then go get an alignment!!
