It depends on how hard of a clunk. Is your truck ideling higher then normal, are you at a full stop, are you on flat ground or a hill, there may be some slack in the linkage. If you can duplicate the problem and your still under warranty then take it in. As far as normal. Well there is always some play, but not enough that it should make you concerned about a clunk.

the only time it doesnt do it is when I park on a hill with the parking brake on. It seems to be getting louder each day also.it only a month old so I guess il be going to gmc tommorow

the only time it doesnt do it is when I park on a hill with the parking brake on. It seems to be getting louder each day also.it only a month old so I guess il be going to gmc tommorow

 

 

went to gmc today and they said its a normal slack in the drive line.
