Hey guys, MS3DALE, what year was the 4L70E avalable in the Vortec max. I want to think 2006. Is my memory bad or what.

Your correct,2006 was the first year for the 4L70-E tranny.

That was also the first year for the "VortecMAX"

 

By the way,I've been trying to answer your question since you posted it but theres a problem with the forum here lately where nothing wants to come up the way it should,I hope they fix it soon.
