Msrp Vs Otd

The MSRP is $43,115.

The year is 2008.

The tax is 5%.

The dealer is miles away and I must carry a cashiers check to pick up the truck.

Anybody got a formula for an irresistable deal?

I am thinking about $35,015. Does that sound right?

yeah there is a formula: What is the invoice of the truck and work from there....if that is a stock truck, PM me the VIN and I will tell you what the invoice on it actually is (Thanks MS3DALE)

Ya know sin.... I would generally agree with you. I would also like to buy from my local dealer. However, I have purchased one truck from my Gulfport Dealer, one from my D'Iberville Dealer, and one from the Pascagoula Dealer. (Yes 3 dang GMC's in the last 6 years)

I am sold on the GMC and they know it. Unfortunately, My local dealer wants to knock off 5% from the MSRP and sell me the truck that he has on the lot. He wants me to pay MSRP for the one I asked him to get from another dealership.

I know better.

500.00 under invioce + all rebates. Been able to get there with ease. Make sure to know what they are + dealer incentives which are in additiion to rebates.

From our local dealer the killer deal (= the one that will kill your finances for a long time) is this:

MSRP + $ 1,500 bogus protection package&cheap plastic bedliner + $ 500 phony dealer fee + tax + tag + title fee. And then they will subtract any cash rebate to the customer. :sigh:

Needless to say I do not buy ANYTHING from this dealer and do not even take the truck there for any warranty work. They even charge 10% over retail for all parts and accessories.
