I Ain't Got No Tenths . . .

I just noticed today that my odometer does not register in tenths. Nor do I have a trip odometer. I am saddened.

You have one its the push pin on the gauge cluster, push it once to see trip odometer, keep pushing to return to odometer, the tenths has been gone and I see no use for it. If you want to reset the trip odometer hold the push pin in while its on the trip odometer.

Thanks, I found it.

It does a whole bunch of things. Trans temperature and more. Now, I'll have to go back and read the manual (again). Wonders of this truck never cease to amaze me.

My 07 classic still has tenths on the trip meter . . . .

It someone tells you to take a left 3.4 miles from the stop sign, it's nice to have.

Whew ! At what age does one become an 'old guy'? 25? 30? 35? 40? 45? 50? 55? 60? 65? 70? 75?

Dont' get me wrong. :D I have been driving and working on vehicles since some of the posters here were still having their mothers wipe their butts!

It's called Wisdom which many young timers don't seem to have a complete grasp.

I am a little taken aback by reading such unnecessary stereotypes on this board.

Im sure the old guy comment is meant as a light hearted joke. Im a middle ager (38) but you gotta have sympathy for the younger generation, the country they are getting is crap and is likely to get worse. Im old enough to remember when every conversation didnt end with a discussion about computers, movie theatres were cell phone free, everyone spoke english in public, there werent cameras everywhere, and you could get decent customer service when you went to the store. Not to mention the fact that only goverment employees (or the very wealthy) have job security and real health care. When this country is owned or run by Mexico, China, or the Muslims I hope to be to old to suffer. The main reason I got my NBS Sierra is because the powers that be may not let people like me own a full size pickup in the future and I want to enjoy one while I still can.
