Shift Delay/flashpaq

i was reading a few of you had an issue with the flashpaq having some delayed shifting. i just put one in my 07 silverado 5.3, and it does have a delay between 1st and 2nd. it seems like it waits a long time to shift, but when it does get to 2nd, it boggs down, and has to pick it self up. now i know you can adjust the shift points... anyone know if adjusting the shift point will help this problem... and if yes it will help... which way should i adjust it, plus, or minus? hope someone can help!

Wow, kinda surprised they are STILL having those issues... and on the NEW trucks. I had the exact same issue with my 06 YD many months ago. It was a very annoying lag/delay on the 1-2 upshift. In fact, if you check their forum, you can probably find my poll I started earlier this year. Which did prove lots of people were having the issue.

Apparently they did resolve some of the issues with other vehicles like my friends 07 Classic Silverado 5.3l V8. But he ended up with a super harsh upshift, even with "stock" settings.

Needless to say, even after working with them repeatedly and them basically "giving up," I went w/ a custom tune from Wait4Me (SCT), and haven't looked back. But I suppose it wouldn't hurt to give them a call and see if they can help... but I wouldn't count on it. Good luck!
