Wait4me Tune - Auto Door Locks - No Longer Working

Recommended Posts

I just got back my wait4me tune and I noticed that my auto door locks no longer activate when I shift out of park. I checked the DIC and they are set to lock when shifting out of park. But still dont work. Anyone run into this problem, any fix's? Thanks.

My wait4me tune didn't affect the auto-locks, but then my truck is a 2002.

Have you contacted Jesse ?

Have't contacted Jesse yet. This moring I changed it to lock with Vehicle speed...nothing. Every option is not working. I dont think its a fuse related problem cause the power locks work when I manually do it. Its not a big deal, but more of a bother-some cause I cant figure it out.

When Jesse did my tune on my 2003 2500HD it made the ABS light stay on. I had a spare computer so when I swapped it in I put the original computer back in. The ABS light went back out. He did give plenty of power to kick Hemi and Tundra ass at the truck pulls though. You will probably have to have him reflash it.

As far as power. Im not happy. I really dont feel any difference. It just seems like he tightened up the 1 - 2 shift points and turned off AFM. Gas miliage seems to be 1-2 mpg higher, but thats about all.

I read the tune off my buddies EFILive computer. Email'ed him the tune. Then he modified it and sent it back. I uploaded the new tune. I'm sure its an easy fix.

The door locks are controlled by the BCM not the PCM which Jesse tuned. I wanted my auto door locks disabled and he told me he couldn't do it because that type of thing is controlled by the body control module. Also my truck is a '99 so I'm stuck with it.

The two modules may work in conjunction with each other though.
