Same vehicle. Most "Special Editions" are nothing more than regional badging promotions. They usually include such performance enhancing goodies as extra chrome and an aerodynamic antenna ball... or something equally as important. There are very few actual special edition vehicles issued by the factory.

Texas Edition was chrome accents, 20" OEM wheels and a badge that said TEXAS EDITION....not worth the extra $1500.00 IMO.

Special Editions back in the 60s and 70s meant you had a rare vehicle that only so many were made but now it doesnt mean nothing just a fancy badge and something else that is meaningless.

GM needs to come out with a special edition Reg Cab with at least the 6.0.

They had a great concept truck that came out several years ago. Bone stock, 6 speed manual and a 6.0.

nah, wait for the D-MAX in the LD trucks, that will pull some serious power and be a good platform if executed properly........

Yeah, but knowing GM, they'll be to chicken **** to put the LD D-Max in the RCSBs.

maybe, I would rather see a D-MAX in a LD truck that is 'lower output' than see a gasser..... but it is up to those d**n bean counters, sorry i get annoyed at the 'cheapness' of the truck sometime.
