Ok, I'll take a shot or two in the dark here, even though you've probably already tried these things...

Since you said it's getting fuel, I'm assuming it's also turning over.. You're just not getting any fire.

Since it did fire-up, I'd go back and double-check ALL my electrical connections, especially anything to do with the ignition. Maybe something popped-off or came loose, after you fired it up and killed it last night? (Sorry, "kill" was probably not a good term, considering she won't start right now.)

I don't have experience with an LS1 swap out, but I've worked on a few motors, over the years.. When they wouldn't fire, it was usually a loose wire somewhere or connector.. and "usually" one that didn't even "look" loose. Unplugging and replugging usually did the trick, though...

All of that said, I'm sure someone else will come along with much better (and more specific) advice, though, after NYE is over and the hangovers have worn off. :dunno:

Yeah, I know what you mean. Just take a few deep breaths, step back, and think about all the basics, before you start looking at expensive and complicated stuff. Let us know how it turns out! I'll keep an eye on this thread, because I'm curious what the solution is.

Ended up being something as little and stupid as the spark plugs. I mean the engine ran fine before the swamp, same engine, same plugs you would think that they would be fine. But they were all corroded and carbon build up kept them from sparking. Threw some NGK's in the sucker and it ran fine again!
