Durn Dinger!

Someone Please tell me there is a way to make it stop!!!!!!!! Seatbelt off, door ajar, power on..... it just won't stop dingin agggg Every other truck I've ever owned it was the first thing I snatched out but the intergrated on my 06 sucks!

 

How can I cut it off??????

Sorry buddy don't mean to laugh at you. I don't think there really is a way of disabeling the dern thing other than disconnecting the left front speaker, but you probably don't want to do that do you.

easiest way i found ... with the aftermarket adapter i have ... i can adjust the volume of the 'durn dinger' .. and i have it set on the lowest possible ...

 

that and i normally have my seatbelt on ...

Oh cool where can we find this adapter if you don't mind. Cause frankly I'd love if mine was quiet

i am not sure if it works on the 05 and before trucks .. it is the normal adapter for installing an aftermarket radio into the truck ... has 2 wires you touch together to set the volume of the 'dinger' ...

Personally I'd try looking at your local audio shop first, then if for some strange reason they don't have it, try Crutchfield.com. They have everything.

mine came from crutchfield .. was like 60$ with the purchase of my CD player...
