Volant Or Gm Performance Intake

Is the Volant intake system for the GMT-900 trucks an oiled or non-oiled filter? I'm trying to decide between the Volant kit and the GM Performance intake which I know is a non-oiled unit.

 

I had a K&N FIPK2 system on my '02 for years without any trouble, but don't want an oiled sytem to potentially screw anything up on my new '07.

Volant sells their product two ways, these days... One has an oiled filter. One has a non-oiled filter. I think the non-oiled one sells for about $30 more than the oiled one.

The element on the Volant I had on my '99 and '04 was non-oiled.However I swapped it out for a K&N filter.

I do prefer the non-oiled type in my GM Performance Parts intake however.
