Rubber Peeling Off.

The rubber isn't the problem. The inner plastic trim panel is dislodged for whatever reason. It isn't snapped down in place according to the pictures.

The rubber normally just lips over the edge of it to hide the seam. It's just a door weatherstrip.

Same thing happened to my 07 NBS CC. Right side B pillar too? Dealer covered it under warranty. I’m guessing it came from the factory that way, but I didn’t notice until a few weeks later because I rarely access that door.

a few of my plastic parts were not fully locked in place on my SD, just a couple of pushes and a run of the finger along the rubber trim and all was well.

Got an appointment with the dealer tomorrow, I'll tell them.

Definitely do that. It isn't right for sure. That is something that should never just "fall off". I'm sure they can remedy it.

Welcome to the site by the way....

Maybe it was a faulty clip issue on that particular piece of trim. I'm starting to see a trend here!
