Part Number Cross Reference

Can anyone cross reference GM part#15040497

I can't seem to find this part number in the gm system so it must be an old number. It's the old 4wd control module out of my truck, which apears to be a used one from a wreckers. I've since replaced the module with a new one from GM which solved my 4wd problem. I was just curius to know if this was the right module for my truck in the first place.
