2002 Gmc 2500hd Steering Wheel Conversion To 03-06 Steering Wheel

Has anyone done this mod... I like the look of the new style wheel... will my 02 clockspring work with the 03-06 airbag...from the views of airbags on ebay...it looks like it will mount...is there anything I should be aware of.. I have all the parts...ie airbag ( yellow single connector for hd's) and new style steering wheel without radio controls HELP??? anyinfo pertaining to this would be extremely helpful thx

I would say its posible. If your talking just the wheel and not including the DIC buttons. If including that well idk what would take to make it work but I think its a plain & simple swap.

It is non DIC equipped... just a leather wrapped wheel... from the 03-06 model years... I have the airbag and wheel...just did'nt want to spend another 150 on a clockspring and wondering if mine off the 02 will work..( mounting and plug in it has only one yellow plug single stage I guess from an hd truck..thanks for the help....
