Pro Comp is really a marketing company that sells all kinds of automotive related products. They sell switches, tow straps, wheels, bumpers, etc. I don't believe they actually make anything they sell. The shocks are probably farmed out to Ningbo, Global, Pin Hsiu or one of the other generic shock manufacturers. This doesn't make them bad, but I would probably buy a known brand name with a track record rather than hope they got it right. I've used KYB shocks on a lot of my vehicles and had great success.

Just my opinion.

Bilstein, KYB, Monroe all offer pretty competitive pricing. Rancho and Edelbrock have taken a beating in the reviews but I don't have personal experience with them.
