Bose System But Not Y91?

I have an 03 avalanche that came with the 6 disk changer, onstar, XM radio, and bose speakers. I got all the options including Z71. However, when I looked in the glove box, I did not see the Y91 code. How is that possible? Can I upgrade to a nav system that requires a Y91 connection? What can I check for to see if I do have the Y91 other than the glove box?

I think you asked this on another site, you have a bose premium system. The y91 is a Bose Luxury System that came on Escalades and Denali's and it is possible to upgrade it.

you can upgrade to factory nav but will need the non-lux unit, and it will work fine.

Which model NAV did you buy, is it a touchscreen

as far as i know there is the lux and non lux version, and they wont interchange, and it doesnt make any differance weather or not you have the BOSE, its weather or not is an escalade/denali type truck or reg sliverado/tahoe/suburban/sierra/yukon you get the idea.

I am about to offer a complete nav system (touchscreen nav radio for the premium Bose system, 6-disc pocket CD changer, wiring harness for the changer, GPS antenna and v 5.0 navdisc) on ebay, but I will offer it up here first...everything is in perfect condition. My sister-in-law wanted to it to put in her Tahoe, but after I bought all the parts, she changed her mind!

I am looking for $1100 for everything. If you don't want to go through the amp swap that the lux option requires, here is a much easier way to get GPS navigation in one stop!
