Custom Tunes

Hi,

 

Ok, alot of guys talk about custom tunes. How do you get the tune into the truck? When you buy the tune, does the seller provide somekind of handheld device to get into the OBD port? [or whatever it is called]

 

And when you want to remove the tune for dealership visits, returning to stock, how does that happen.

 

I was talked into the superchips flashpaq. It only makes HP when running higher octane >91 fuel. The elimination of the speed govenor as well as the transmission shift points / pressure are handy tuning abilities though.

 

I'm running a 2007 Sierra Classic 1/2 4x4 SLE with L33 engine. I did K&N CAI and Magnaflow cat back DOR Exhaust. Runnin BFG All terrains [stock size]
